We will be working on athletic skills during our PE sessions and teams will be chosen accordingly.

Children who are asked to take part will only be allowed to participate in one track and one field event (plus the relay - teams of 4). These are the competition rules.

There are 3 more after school sessions at Sir Graham Balfour this term:

  1. April 28th - Year 1/2 sports hall athletics
  2. April 25th - Year 3/4 sports hall athletics
  3. May 9th - Year 5/6 table tennis tournament

**Update - unfortunately the Year 5/6 athletics tournament at Rowley Park was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.

All other events went ahead as planned.

In addition we took a group of children to Keele University to take part in a Change4Life event. These children will go on to run their own after school club, planning activities with the support of Mrs Unwin and Mrs Fullegario.

We also took a group of Year 5 children to a Tri-golf tournament - it was lots of fun!
