Updates

Welcome back, it was lovely to hear about the children's Christmas breaks and to welcome new children into our setting. The new children have settled very well and it has been fantastic to see the other children modelling and supporting their new friends in the Nursery setting. This term we will be looking at the text 'Walking through the Jungle' we will try to base as much of learning around this text and theme. Please find below our Spring newsletter to see what learning will take place this term.

We look forward to working with you again this term.

Mrs Cutler, Mrs Felix and Mrs Corban

Monday 9th November

We had a lovely week welcoming the children back from half term. This week we have been focussing  on our fine motor skills, using scissors to cut spines for hedgehogs, using our hands to make hedgehog hand prints and creating bright firework pictures using bright colourful paints.

25th September 2015

We have had a lovely week exploring the colour red and making our wonderful jam tarts. The children really enjoyed baking and rolling the pastry! Next week we will be continuing to match colours and explore different colours. We will also be introducing lots of Nursery rhymes this week.

17th September 2015

It has been a lovely week and the children are settling in very well, they all look so smart in their uniforms! We have done lots of painting this week and have been very busy with pasta and playdough. Next week we are starting to focus on colours and will be looking at the colour 'red'. It would be great if the children could bring something red in from home, which isn't too big! Please remember to label it.

Many Thanks

Mrs Cutler  and Mrs Felix
