Updates On Our Learning

Welcome back!

We hope you have all had an enjoyable and relaxing Easter break and feel ready for the summer term, continuing our motto of 'Care to Learn and Learn to Care.'

Our topic this term is 'Chocoholics!' and there is no doubt this will be a memorable, exciting and invigorating topic for all! Our text in Literacy is 'Charlie and The Chocolate Factory' so this will similarly offer many exciting learning opportunities. Please take some time to read through the curriculum information so you can see for yourself how this topic is certainly going to bring learning to life!

Wednesday 22nd April 2015 - 'Chocoholics!' Topic Launch Day

Willy Wonka arrived at Parkside Primary School today to visit Year 3!! Each and every one of the children received their very own golden ticket.  Willy Wonka promised the children if they earn their golden tickets throughout the term they will be awarded with a trip to a Chocolate Factory! We are extremely excited and still in shock that Willy Wonka turned up in our classroom!

Please take some time to look through our photos and shocked faces in the photo gallery.

Friday 22nd May 2015

We can't believe we are now at the end of our penultimate half term in Year 3! It has been an exciting and successful half term kick starting our 'Chocoholics' topic and 'Charlie & The Chocolate Factory' text. The children are thoroughly enjoying both and are working hard towards earning their golden tickets they received from Willy Wonka. Where will we end up at the end of the term?!

Monday 1st June 2015

Welcome back! We hope you have all had a restful and enjoyable half term break and all feel ready to embrace the final half term in Year 3! Where has the time gone? A busy half term coming up with lots going on but I am sure it will be as rewarding and as enjoyable as the rest. We would like to thank you for your continued support and look forward to finishing off the academic year with you and your children.
