June - Our last 1/2 term in Reception!
Welcome back. The children came back enthusiastically after the 1/2 term break. Sports day was a great success, it was lovely to see you all there to support your children (see photographs in the gallery).
We have been enjoying our second class text for this topic, 'We're Going on a Lion Hunt'. We have also had a special delivery of caterpillars, the children are fascinated, observing them grow and change each day.

July 2015
The children enjoyed performing the 'Jungle Journey' dance in the school hall for their parents. We were all proud of them.
Our caterpillars quickly changed and we were all delighted to see the first butterfly emerge on the first transition morning. After observing them for the rest of the week the class had an amazing debate to decide if they should keep them or release them. We released them on Friday afternoon.
