I hope you enjoyed writing about your inspiration. You are now going to focus on an inspirational figure in religion. I would like you to research the life of Ghandi. Questions I want you to consider:

 

Who is this person? 

What did the individual do that makes them an inspiration to others? 

When did they do it? 

Where in the world? 

Why did the person go above and beyond?

How were they inspired by their faith? 

What leadership qualities did they show?

 Hello Heroes for Hire! This week we are going to be looking at RE. As part of our R.E unit we are going to be looking at inspirational religious figures. Firstly, I would like you to think of someone who has been inspirational to YOU. This could be anybody who has had this positive impact on your life. Can you make notes of why they are inspirational and their characteristics which you feel makes them inspirational.

This week we are going to be covering the sixties! Your work can be completed to suit you this week, you can spread the activities out over the course of the week and spend some time in the afternoons completing the set work. Thursday 23rd April and Friday 24th April 2020

The next two days of learning are all going to be on how animals adapt to survive in the desert. The first video (on bitesize) will give you a more detailed idea of what adaptation is and the second link will give you some amazing adaptations. Your task is to research adaptations and then create an animal which is perfectly adapted for the desert!

Ok Heroes you are now going to learn about evolution. I am not expecting any work from this but for you to just investigate the websites below and to begin to get an understanding of what evolution is! 

Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st April 2020 

This week we are going to be covering Evolution and Inheritance as part of our science unit! For the next two days I would like you to research all about the father of Evolution himself, Charles Darwin! Your findings can be presented however you wish, I will also attach a video and written information about this fascinating man.

Great work on the cities of the United Kingdom. I have three challenges for you today! First of all you are going to consolidate your learning with the first quiz (Uk cities), then you can try to move onto the trickier version (UK cities tricky) and finally you can begin to learn the counties (UK counties). Now we have focused on world geography we are now going to focus on the United Kingdom. Your task will be to find key locations in the United Kingdom! As an extra challenge you can use our previous lessons learning to investigate the Human and Physical characteristics of one of these locations.
