Science

Today we are going to be starting our new Science unit.

'A scientist tries to understand how our world, or other things work. They make lots of comparisons, observations and ask lots of questions.'

Our learning focus will be on Animals including humans and healthy Lifestyles.

Science Knowledge Mat - Animals including humans / Healthy lifestyles

Before we start our learning I would like to see what you know already.

Complete the  'TWO' Google Docs to share with me what you know already.

You will only have 30 minutes for this activity.

What I Already Know

As scientists is to make observations and ask questions.

You will need to look at a baby photo of yourself as well as a recent photograph ( or look in a mirror!) for this activity! You can to stick (or draw) the images on the recording sheet.

Questions to ask yourself...
              · Has your appearance (what you look like) changed? Explain how
              · Do you have the same personality?  (Ask a parent - were you a quiet baby but not

anymore?, did you prefer independent as a baby or did you like others to do things

                for you?)

Complete the table with your observations.
