23/11/2018 The Famous Fives have had a great week of exciting learning. Our lessons included activities such as; a Hogwarts style food tasting experience, planting bulbs on Marston Grange and finishing the week watching Harry Potter with popcorn. Well done everyone for a fatastic week!

24/10/2018 - The Famous Fives have spent their gymnastics lesson having a go at tightrope walking. This links in with the text we are looking at this week of 'The man who walked between the towers'. The pupils were amazed how tricky this was, especially when they found out Phillipe Petit carried out his walk 1/4 a mile in the sky!

The Famous Fives

On Friday we will be having a spelling test which retests you on 20 words. These will all be taken from the words you have already learnt in the previous weeks.

It is up to you how you chose to learn these words again. But, make sure you pay particular attention to any that you got wrong when you were tested on them before.

The Famous Fives have had a fantastic week getting to grips with life as a year five pupil. Amongst our usual lessons, we spent Tuesday as students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Students were sorted into their houses, spells were learnt, wards were decorated and butter beer was made.

Overall The Famous Fives had a brilliant launch day and rest of the week.

We hope you have a lovely weekend,

Miss Flackett and Mrs Morrison.
