Literacy

Today you are going to write a description of where you thought you were when you went through the red door.

You will use your expanded noun phrases that you wrote yesterday to help you with your description.

Think carefully about using all your writing knowledge in your description that you have learnt over the year.

  • Start EVERY sentence with a capital letter (ABC) and end EVERY sentence with a full stop (.).
  • Use a conjunction (and, but, then, so, because) to join two shorter sentences together.
  • Use EXPANDED NOUN PHRASES (but not for every sentence otherwise it will sound too repetitive).
