Monday 21st September

Have read of the story 'Oh Dear' and then complete the activities suggested. :)

We hope you enjoyed listening to the story ‘Oh Dear’ and following Buster around the farm as he looked for the eggs for his breakfast.

How much can you remember from the story? Who lived in the stable? How many eggs did Buster find? Can you count how many different animals Buster went to see? Which animal did he go to first and which was the last? Which animal did you think was the biggest and which was the smallest? Maybe you could play a game with an adult guessing the animal from the sound it makes.

It would be great if you could draw or paint a picture of your favourite animal, it doesn’t have to be from the story, and send it to your Learning Book, we would love to see your pictures!

Have a look for different animals or birds in your garden or when you go on a walk, how many do you see?

You may find some in your picture books, have a look!

Can find an animal from your toys, can you make it a home using boxes which you could paint or decorate? Can you set out a farm using your animals, tractors and don’t forget a farmer!
