KS1 & KS2 Sports Day

Re: KS1 & KS2 Sports Day – Friday 22nd June 2018 – Weather Permitting

We are delighted to announce that the annual sports day will be taking place on Friday 22nd June 2018. Please note Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 will be competing in the afternoon and Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 competing in the morning. Parents and family members are invited to come along and support their children.

Year 4, 5 and 6 parents can make their way onto the field after dropping their children off in the morning. Parents of Year 1, 2 and 3 pupils are asked to enter the school via the Office Reception ensuring they do not cut across the car park. Doors will open at 1:25pm. Parking is available at the Parkside Precinct shops; we ask that you do not use the staff car park.

Due to an increased number of events and points on offer as part of the house competition we ask that the children attend sports day wearing a plain T-shirt in their house colour along with their PE shorts/Tracksuit bottoms.

If you are unable to find a plain T-shirt in your child’s house colour then their school PE shirt will be fine.

Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils will start their competitions at 9:15am

Year 1, 2 and 3 pupils will start their competitions at 1:30pm

Please Note: Early Years will be holding a separate sports day on Friday 15th June 2018

Please ensure:

  • Children have sensible footwear that fits securely. Trainers are preferable.

  • Your child is well equipped with sun cream, sun hat and a water bottle on the day.

Pupils are to come to school dressed for sports day and will remain in their sports attire for rest of the day. We will send out a text message to all parents, on the day, if Sports Day needs to be cancelled due to bad weather.

Thank you for your continued support.
