Come as you are and leave as a Champion
Monday 6th December 2021
It is with great pleasure that I’m writing to let you know about some changes within the leadership team at our Creative Learning Partnership Trust.
Lynne Bennett, our current CEO, who has successfully led the Trust since 2015 has made the decision to begin the process of phased retirement from her current position as Chief Executive Officer. Sam Compton, the current Chief Operating Officer of the Trust, as well as Headteacher at Parkside, has been appointed as the new CEO for the Creative Learning Partnership Trust. Sam has been working alongside Lynne throughout the summer and autumn terms to help create a seamless transition for the Trust leadership process. Therefore in January 2022 Sam will take over the CEO role completely along with the Executive Headship of Parkside and Lynne will continue to work for the Trust. This will include supporting school improvement, on a part-time basis, she will also be assisting with the leadership of Hempstalls during Miss Bell’s maternity leave. Mrs Tracy Price, Head teacher from James Bateman Middle School will take on the Chief Operating Officer role alongside her Headship of the school.
We are all delighted with these changes, as this will ensure the stability and continuity of our very special Trust and our family of schools.
