Re: School Catering Company – AIP
We are very excited to announce that from September Parkside Primary School’s lunch and snack provision will be provided by Alliance in Partnership. AIP are a successful Midlands based catering company, specialising in the education sector, with 20 years experience managing over 320 school contracts. AIP was appointed after a rigorous tendering process including a tasting session by our very own Parkside School Council. Their Gold Standard Food for Life certification guarantees that all fresh produce is locally sourced and fully traceable. Their focus is to provide a varied, fresh and quality driven food offer whilst giving value for money and choice to customers.
We are very pleased to announce that school dinner prices have been reduced to £2.15 per meal and you will also notice a reduction in price for morning snack on most items from September!
Parents will still be required to book their school dinner orders in advance, no later than Thursday at midnight for the following week’s order, via ParentPay. This applies to all school aged children, regardless if they pay for school dinners or not.
Snack orders will be sent home on a Tuesday and must be returned to school no later than Thursday the same week in order for your child to be provided with a morning snack.
Parents are reminded that morning snack is available for purchase for children in Year 1 to Year 6 and is optional. Parents are welcome to provide their child with a healthy snack from home. Free fruit is available throughout the day for early years and KS1 children.
We are very excited about these changes and look forward to the children trying out the new menu in September.
