Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th May 2020 - Here is a reading comprehension task based on 'VE Day' that will be celebrated on Friday 8th May. I have suggested giving yourselves a couple of days to compete the tasks as there is quite a bit involved. You may find a dictionary or searching word definitions online useful for some of the questions.
David Walliams is currently uploading a free audio story every day at his website https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses/
Why not give your parents working from home a tea break - even better if you can learn to make a great cuppa... it really is a skill for life - and have a listen together?
Friday 3rd April 2020 - Complete the Easter Story comprehension attached below (could be an activity for over Easter). Look carefully at the bottom left of each page where there is a star rating of the difficulty. You do not need to complete all 3 sheets, only one. You may choose which star rating is an appropriate challenge for you. Make sure when you email your teacher you let them know which star rating you did and how you got on. Answer in full sentences like we do in class in your home learning book.
