Summer Term 2016

Our Prom!

What a fabulous time we had last night and what a fabulous year it has been. All that remains for me to say is a massive thank you to all parents, grandparents and carers for all of your support this year and most of all a massive thank you to all of Year Six for all you have done! I wish each and every one of you all the luck in the world for high school! Enjoy the photos below!

Drayton Manor - Wednesday 29th June

Yesterday Year Six had a fantastic day at Drayton Manor Theme Park to celebrate their end of Primary School. This trip was well deserved after the many months of hard work the children have put in during their time in Year Six. Their behaviour was impeccable and it was an absolute pleasure being out with them. Special thanks go to the many additional staff who came along to support myself, Mrs Hier and Mrs Fullegario: Mrs Dawson, Mrs Lunn, Miss Padgham, Mr Chesters and Mrs Francis! I would also like to say a massive thank you to Miss Wheatley (George's mum) and Miss Main (Xander's mum) for giving up their own time to come and help us! Below are lots of photos of this very special and very memorable day!

Stafford Music Festival - Rotary Club Music Workshop (16th May)

Today Year Six had a brilliant day taking part in a music workshop which was funded by the Rotary Club in support of Stafford Music Festival. The workshop was led by Freddy Aburto who taught the children (and staff) all about South American pipes and drum instruments.  A massive thank you goes from the staff and children in Year Six to Freddy (for sharing his musical talent and for teaching us so much), to Mr Compton of The Rotary Club (for facilitating the generous funding) and to Mrs Compton (for organising school participation in the music festival). We had a great day! Have a look at some of the things we got up to below!

Test Week: Monday 9th May 2016

I am delighted to say that today we have sat the last of the End of Key Stage Two government tests! The children have all tried their very best in each of the tests and I am so very proud of them! I would like to take this opportunity once again to thank you for all of your continued support through this year.

The results of these tests - which are externally marked - will be shared with you and your child in their end of year school report in July!

During this week we have had a couple of trips to the park to help the children relax and unwind! Here are some of the photos we took!
