Thoughtful Thursdays

Playing with dolls or dressing up is very important in your child's development. Why?

Letting your child play these activities gives them  a chance to pretend to be grown ups and act out their feelings, very important for all children. This feeds their imagination and develops their vocabulary and social skills- playing with others. This in turn will help their ability to make up stories and write stories when they need to in school. These activities are also important for your child's physical skills, dressing the dolls, doing the fastenings, dont be too quick to do it for them, let their fingers have a go.
