Afternoon Focus - Personal and Social Development

Dreams and Goals

We shall start our afternoon with a relaxation focus.

Please click on this link to 'Bubble Bounce'.

Follow on with an activity which may help you to work on your Dream or Goal you set last week.

We are working on perseverance (which means keep on trying), you can tackle challenges.

Activity:  This may be personal tasks such as:

Can you put on a pair of gloves, fasten small buttons or zip your coat up by yourself?

Or you could try some physical challenges such as:

Stacking cups to make a tower, use craft sticks and bricks to balance and stack.

Use clothes pegs to pick up dried peas or small objects and put them in a container.

Ask an adult to try the challenge too.

Reflect: Talk with an adult about how you and they feel when things are difficult or your tower falls over and when you can do something. What words do you use to encourage each other ... You can do it, keep trying, it's hard but you can do hard things, I/we did it!
