What a busy half term we had! The children have worked on time and revisited multiplication in numeracy. We have also had a go at some problem solving and reasoning investigations which proved quite challenging to say the least! In literacy we began work on our new text 'The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch'. Using collage we created a fantastic setting image that we described using 2A sentences and simile sentences. We then looked at the characters in particular Mr Grinling's cat Hamish.
As part of our topic work we have been looking at human and physical features of coastal towns ready for our visit to LLandudno. We have also considered what plants and seeds need in order to grow and will be carrying out our investigations over the following weeks.
I look forward to what the next 7 weeks will bring!
