Year 4/3 –The Golden Eagles - Mrs Stanton

Good afternoon Golden Eagles,

I hope you are well and have had a nice weekend!

As you are aware, I am now uploading daily learning. Numeracy, Literacy and the afternoon activities are being uploaded daily.

I would like you to email me by Thursday every week and let me know how your child is getting on with the learning.

Please contact me if you need anything or to show me your amazing learning at lstanton@parkside.staffs.sch.uk.

Many thanks,

Mrs Stanton

Good afternoon Golden Eagles,

I wanted to say how proud I am of you this week. The work I have received has been amazing and you have all been working so hard. Well done Golden Eagles. smiley

This afternoon I have been playing in the garden with my children, having fun and enjoying the sunshine.

Have a lovely weekend and stay safe. I am missing you all.

Mrs Stanton

Good afternoon Golden Eagles,

I hope that you have had a good day. Just to let you know that I have added some card games in the Daily Fun Section. Click on the Home Learning rainbow and then Other Activities for your child to try icon to find this. My favourite is the game Memory which I play often with my children.

Stay safe and look after yourselves.smiley

Mrs Stanton

Good afternoon Golden Eagles,

I hope that you have had a lovely Easter holiday. I have enjoyed spending time with my family, going on short walks and have attempted to ride my bike a few times. Some of you were on your daily exercise when you saw me attempt to do this! smiley

I am looking forward to our new learning activities this week and especially our new curriculum focus. Remember though, stay safe and look after yourselves. I miss you all.

Mrs Stanton

Good afternoon Golden Eagles,

I hope you have had a nice day. I felt very proud last night as I clapped for the NHS workers along with my neighbours.

I did Joe Wicks again this morning which I thought was a lot tougher than usual and I went on a walk this afternoon. It was nice to wave and say hi to some of you as you happened to be looking out of your windows. That made me smile. smiley

I am so proud of you all this week. Thank you so much to everyone who has sent me their work. You really are amazing Golden Eagles.

I will not be uploading any daily work for the next two weeks as it is the Easter holidays but instead look out for an Easter challenge which I shall include on Monday should you wish to try it. More importantly, enjoy spending time with each other and stay safe.

Have a Happy Easter. I miss you all.

Mrs Stanton

Good afternoon Golden Eagles,

I hope that you are having a nice day today. I did Joe Wicks this morning and am looking forward to the fancy dress session tomorrow! Because of the weather, I also tried some yoga this afternoon and really enjoyed the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, A Cosmic Kids Yoga Adventure. Do you remember when we tried this in class? I think my balancing skills are improving slowly! I have added this in the PE activities section.

I miss you and I am very proud of you all. Stay safe smiley

Mrs Stanton

Good afternoon Golden Eagles,

Thank you for all the work and pictures you have sent me today. You really are all amazing. I have put some examples in the Our Learning section. Please have a look.

Take care and stay safe smiley

Mrs Stantonsmiley

Good afternoon Golden Eagles,

Did you start the day with Joe Wicks? I did and I am proud I completed it with my family.

I hope you have been enjoying the different home learning activities. I have really enjoyed seeing lots of your home learning pictures that you have sent me. Thank you. Remember all you need to do is look in the daily Numeracy ,  Literacy  and  afternoon activities sections to find the day's learning. Don't forget there are some other activities that I have added should you wish to try something else like lego, yoga and mindful colouring. There are also some useful website links like Super Movers which the children love to do.

Look after yourselves and stay safe. smiley

Mrs Stanton

To The Golden Eagles,

I hope that you have had a good first week and have enjoyed the sunshine.

I can't wait to read your diary entries  and I hope you have enjoyed the fraction work and dropping everything and reading. I also stood outside on my doorstep on Thursday evening and clapped for the NHS staff.

From Monday, I will be providing more activities for you to do if you wish. I will upload a Numeracy and a Literacy based activity as well as a curriculum based activity for the afternoon each day. I will also upload the spelling list for each week on Monday and have also included some different spelling strategies when helping your child learn them. Please look under the relevant headings every day. I have attached a sample/guideline timetable for you to follow if this helps.

You are welcome to email me to ask me any questions or send me any work that you would like me to look at and I can provide feedback for you.
