Today some of our Year 3 and 4 children attended Clip and Climb for a Teamwork Challenge. They all had to work together to achieve a Gold Award and both groups absolutely smashed this! We are so proud of them. Not only for showing determination throughout the day but for their excellent behaviour, what a credit to our school! #proudtobeparkside

What a fantastic start to Forest School for Year 5A today! The first session launched their class text, Wolf Brother, brilliantly. The children fully embraced the spirit of the story as they worked in their teams to build impressive dens, showing great teamwork, creativity and problem-solving skills. They made friendship bracelets within their teams and even began crafting their own bows, which they're excited to continue developing. Excellent behaviour throughout, fantastic teamwork and to top it all off - even the sun was shining for them! What an incredible day at school today! We were absolutely thrilled to welcome the amazing team from the Midlands Air Ambulance into school. There was such a buzz around the building all day - especially with everyone proudly wearing red to show their support! The children were fascinated learning about the vital, life-saving work the crew does and they absolutely loved the opportunity to sit inside the helicopter. Midlands Air Ambulance is such a fantastic cause, providing critical care and responding to emergencies when every second counts. We are so proud to support an organisation that makes such a huge difference in our community.
